Keep a copy for your records. If your district has its own upload process or preferred delivery method, follow the instructions your district gives you.

What Should You Have Ready Before the Evaluation?

You do not need to recreate the entire school year. Start with the materials that help your evaluator see what your student worked on and how the year went.

• Portfolio or work samples from the school year.
• A reading or materials log.
• Attendance documentation showing 180 days or the required hours.
• Standardized test results for grades 3, 5, and 8.

Some evaluators may complete the evaluation before every day or hour is finished, as long as the remaining time is achievable by June 30. Ask your evaluator how they handle this. The important point is that the required time still needs to be completed for the school year.
